Desktop Support

Fix the machines people work on — on-site or remote — without a ticket black hole.

Audience

Office managers, ops, small IT teams

Demand

Laptops fail, printers jam, accounts lock. Staff wait while a remote queue sits overnight.

Gap

Helpdesks that only chat. We sit at the desk, image the device, and close the loop.

Outcome

A named contact, same-week on-site when it matters, and a short log of what changed.

Gabby Software is the parent of Get AI Safety Certified. Certifications prove oversight. Desktop support is the other job: keep the hardware people actually use working.

We handle the desk-side work a chat-only helpdesk skips — imaging, account lockouts, peripherals, and the walk-up problems that stop a team for a morning.

Who this is not for

Not a 24/7 NOC for a global fleet, and not a replacement for a CISO security operations center. If you need a named person for an office or a small set of sites, this is the page.

What we actually do

  1. 1. Walk-up and remote

Lockouts, broken profiles, printers, docks, and the “it worked yesterday” laptop. Remote first when that is enough. On-site when it is not.

  2. 2. Images and handoff

Standard images, user data move, and a one-page note of what changed so the next person is not guessing.

  3. 3. Close the loop

A named contact, not a rotating queue. You get a short log, not a portal with 40 statuses.

FAQ

Do you only work remote?
No. Remote when it is enough. On-site for offices we cover. Say the site in the contact form.
Is this the same as General IT support?
Desktop support is the machine in front of the person. General IT support is the stack around it — accounts, backups, vendors. Many clients buy both.
