AI safety for hiring, not “how to use ChatGPT”

The HR course that matters is the one that keeps you out of a screening lawsuit.

The wrong HR AI course

Most HR AI trainings are prompt libraries: write a JD, summarize a resume, draft a rejection. That increases use. It does not reduce the chance that a resume screener or a note about a candidate lands in a model, or that an automated tool treats groups differently.

NYC Local Law 144 requires a bias audit for certain automated employment decision tools. EEOC has said existing discrimination law applies to AI in selection. Lawsuits follow the screening stack, not the Slack prompts.

What to do before you buy another copilot

Inventory tools that rank, score, or filter candidates. Keep interview notes and offer details out of prompts. Know who would run a bias audit and what they would measure. Write the rule so recruiters can follow it without a counsel sitting in every screen.

Gabby Software’s AI Safety for Hiring & HR (ROADMAP 2027) is that cert: bias audit for resume screening, notes that never go in a prompt, and EEOC in plain English. Notify me if you want the classroom, not another “AI for recruiters” webinar.
